Contribution of Pashubajaar on Bakra Eid

Ahead of Eid al-Adha (Bakra Eid), there is a rush for livestocks everywhere. As the demand of goats and sheep increases in the market during the Eid season, livestock farmers look for easier and more convenient ways to advertise and sell their products. One easier way to find a pool of livestock farmers, buyers and traders is to advertise with Pashubajaar.

At Pashubajaar, we invite small livestock farmers from all across the country and even abroad to buy or sell their products (goats, sheep, camels, and other livestocks). Advertising with Pashubajaar will result in increased livestock sales. With increased sales, farmers can improve their livelihood and life quality.

Advertising livestocks with Pashubajaar is the first step towards increasing your sales. Pashubajaar promotes your area of operations by bringing you to the notice of other livestock farmers and traders who are looking for animals.

Gone are the days of selling livestocks through conventional sales and marketing practices. Advertising through online mediums is getting more and more popular over the year. This has taken over the need of direct marketing to generate a lead. To keep pace with the current market demands, livestock farmers need to advertise their products with a classified like Pashubajaar. Our only aim is to get small livestock farmers connected to the market so that they can improve their livelihood and life quality.

Also known as Eid al-Adha, Bakar Eid is a holy festival celebrated by the worldwide Muslim community. Bakra Eid has a great religious significance as it marks the end of the pilgrimage, Hajj to Mecca. The festival involves sacrificing animals as a symbol of Ibrahim’s sacrifice to Allah. To honor the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham, who sacrificed his son Ishmeal as an act of submission to God), Muslims sacrifice goats, sheep or camels on the day of the festival. The Koran (Muslims’ holy epic) preaches, “As Ibrahim was about to kill his son, Allah stopped him and gave him a lamb to sacrifice instead.” After the sacrifice (Qurbani), the meat is preferred to be divided into three parts. The one third of the meat is retained be the family, another third is distributed among friends, relatives and neighbors; the remaining third is given to the poor. Though the division practice remains optional.
